How to get your CIPS Level 2 Qualification

This is the first of CIPS entry level qualifications and is suitable for those who want to specialise in a specific occupation, occupational area or technical role.

This qualification supports learners within operational roles within the procurement and supply profession.

CIPS Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations is designed to develop transferable workplace skills, such as good communication and the ability to work in a team.

Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at delegates that are new to the procurement and supply chain industry, junior buyers and apprentices.

Entry requirements

This is the first entry level qualification, there are no formal entry requirements.

What are the main learning outcomes?

It will prepare learners for work by giving them the opportunity to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills, and to apply these skills in work-related environments.

It includes five core modules make up the required 18 credits:

  • Introducing Procurement and Supply
  • Procurement and
  • Supply Operations
  • Stakeholder Relationships
  • Systems Technology
  • Inventory, Logistics and Expediting

What will this qualification enable me to go onto?

This qualification also provides progression to the CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations, or CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply, depending on your knowledge and experience.
