As a Specialist Consultant on ATN’s team, Milos Stankovic served for twenty years as a commissioned officer in the Parachute Regiment and comes with extensive experience of leadership in four wars on three continents. A specialist in Psychological Operations, he was the longest serving British soldier during the Bosnian war of 1992-95, for which he was subsequently appointed MBE. A Member of the Society of Authors, his critically-acclaimed book, Trusted Mole, described by the Sunday Times as ‘by far the best book to have come out of the Balkan wars’, details his work in troubleshooting, mediating and negotiating during the conflict.
A multilingual specialist in cross-cultural communication, he has, since leaving the Services in 2000, put these skills to use in the Russian Federation in market entry and new business development, and more widely in over 70 countries as a security, risk management and health & safety specialist before retraining as a personal coach and performance consultant. His experiences in various conflicts and more generally across an increasingly complex and interconnected post-Cold War world have convinced him of the need for agile and iterative approaches to planning and negotiation – a philosophy and methodology which lies at the core of his consultancy, Agile Resolutions, and which brings great insight to ATN’s unique approach to Negotiation and Leadership training.
